Together our goal is to empower individuals to become confident, self-sufficient role models, leading to economic and social well-being. Our greatest success stories are those who amplify the ripple effect of our support and pay it forward by creating opportunities for others. Those who receive support from the Mentors Foundation are responsible for working with their mentor and the Foundation to maximize the experience and ensure their success.

In accepting support from the Mentors Foundation, the recipient agrees to fulfill the following responsibilities during their partnership with the Foundation:

- - Maintain contact with the mentor who nominated you.

- - Follow the recommendations of your mentor.

- - Provide photos and a story for Mentors’ website within six months of receiving an award.

- - Follow the Mentors Foundation Facebook page. Post updates and questions for other Mentors recipients’ responses.

- - Agree to serve as a mentor to someone else within five years.

- - Keep a journal or equivalent reporting on your experience, lessons learned, challenges, and successes.
  - At the end of your Mentors-funded experience, submit a brief report on your experience, lessons learned, challenges, and successes.

Mentors Foundation is a partnership with shared responsibilities between the mentee, the mentor, and the Foundation.

Note: Both the application and nomination forms must be submitted three weeks before the due date.
