The Mentors Foundation, along with Teammates, and my nominating mentor Sandy, have been my guiding light and an unwavering sources of encouragement.

From the moment I entered fifth grade, Sandy’s mentorship has shaped my academic and personal journey. Her support has been invaluable. She stood by me through countless challenges, helping me navigate the complexities of education. Thanks to her guidance, I achieved significant milestones. I’m proud to share that I’ve consistently made the Dean’s List for three consecutive quarters. Additionally, I’m on track to graduate a year early with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Gerontology.

This past year was particularly eventful. I became a parent to a now beautiful four-month-old child. Despite the demands of parenthood, I persevered. I not only completed the Spring 2024 semester with strong results but also managed a 30-hour workweek. The Mentor Foundation and the Teammates program played a crucial role in making these accomplishments possible.

My educational journey continues as I set my sights on a Master’s degree. My ultimate dream? To become an FBI agent. The Mentors Foundation has nurtured this aspiration, providing opportunities and unwavering encouragement. I am profoundly grateful for their support.
